BUSY SIGNAL ARRESTED

After completing his European Tour, artist Busy Signal has been arrested in Jamaica.

The popular artist, whose real name is Glendale Gordon, was picked up at the Norman Manley International Airport, immediately after he stepped off a flight from the UK earlier this afternoon.

His arrest came months after Jamaican news media houses reported that a prominent entertainer was under the radar of the United States to be extradited.

Busy is said to be linked to the operations of extradited West Kingston crime lord Christopher “Dudus” Coke, whose sentencing hearing is to begin tomorrow.

According to one of the law enforcement officers, Busy Signal has been under investigation since 2002. He has been able to avoid the American law for such a long time because he was using a fake name, Reanno Devon Gordon, and since returning to Jamaica 10 years ago, he has never been back to the United States. Busy could face up to 15 years to life on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
